Local School Board Candidates who wish to seek office at the November general election will need to complete and file an Affidavit of Identify and a Nomination Petition (a $100 nonrefundable fee may be filed in lieu of a petition). These forms are available at the offices of the Marquette County Clerk, the Ishpeming City Clerk, and the Ishpeming Township Clerk. The deadline for filing is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
A complete filing consists of the following:
- Affidavit of Identity
- School Board Petition Sheet (6-20) Signatures
- File with your Local Township, City Clerk, or the County Clerk.
Withdrawal deadline elapses at 4:00 p.m. on July 26, 2024.
