The Ishpeming Public School District Board of Education has approved an online academy for grades K-12.  Administration identified a need to accommodate students for a variety of reasons.  Our program would be appropriate for

  • Students with health issues
  • Homeschool students
  • Working students
  • Students who do not feel comfortable in a traditional setting
  • And even gifted and talented students

We can schedule students for a full-time or part-time program. We can also offer for students attend some in-house classes, while studying online at home for other classes. We will accommodate any schedule of your choice.

The graduation requirements for our online academy are similar to those in our traditional setting, and correlate with the Michigan Merit curriculum.  Graduates from our online academy will receive an Ishpeming High School diploma.

Our program is free of charge to all students who choose to register with us.  All students will be provided an instructor from in-house as a mentor for their educational experience

For more information, you may contact our high school principal, Mr. Hoopingarner, our Dean of Students Mrs. Doney, or our elementary principal, Matthew Byce.
